What’s new for TePAS 2?

By building on previous frameworks and combining older agreements, TePAS 2 is able to provide the following:

One-stop-shop for technology products and services

Although this framework will feature the same range of products and services from the previous version; it has been enhanced by combining with both the Education Technology framework and Technology Online Purchasing Content framework .This means you can procure all your technology needs under one framework, making it a true one-stop-shop.

Sector specific Lots for health and education

Dedicated lots have been created with the specific needs of both health and social care organisations and education establishments in mind to make procuring what these customers need as straight forward as possible.

Sustainability options

With sustainability being a key focus in many procurement agenda’s. TePAS 2 includes a dedicated Lot featuring both recycling, data wiping and secure disposal options, as well as a number of suppliers focussing on extending product life cycles, giving public sector access to refurbished and remanufactured products and services specialising in upgrading existing equipment to extend the usable life.

An off-the-shelf catalogue

All suppliers on this framework are automatically added to our technology catalogue, making it quicker and easier for customers to purchase low value items via the purchasing platform. The catalogue also offers customers the option to request the addition of products.

Significantly improved buying options

Customers’ now have improved buying options with alternate ways to buy and specific guidance on leasing, utility, and “as a service” models. This gives buyers opportunities to fund and simplify the procurement process, for example they will have the option to pay only for what they use or spread the payments, saving on initial outlay costs.

Save budget through aggregated spending

Collective buying involves bringing together more than one organisation with similar needs to buy common goods and services, achieving savings not possible through individual buying. You can find out more about our Aggregation opportunities here.

Wide choice of suppliers

With 157 awarded suppliers, including sector specific suppliers, value adding resellers, OEMs, market leaders and SMEs, our customers can choose their supplier based on their needs.

Standalone services for supporting technology

Associated Services to Hardware and Software such as maintenance, asset management, installation, integration, support, design, configuration, image management, disposal / recycling services.

Our new Technology Products and Associated Services (TePAS 2) framework (RM6098) provides a true one-stop-shop solution and a single route to market for the varying needs of all our customers.
