Lot 1 Supply and Delivery of Grocery, Fresh and Chilled Foods
This Lot includes chilled dairy products, fresh and cooked meats, fats and oils, soft drinks and waters, hot and cold beverages, tea, coffee, flour and flour based mixes, pasta, rice, pulses, confectionery, biscuits, vinegar based products, canned fish, canned fruit, canned meat, canned vegetables, gravies and sauces, dried fruit and nuts, breakfast cereals, herbs and spices, condiments, chilled fillings, fresh fruit and vegetables.
Lot 2 Supply and Delivery of Frozen Foods
This Lot includes frozen fish, meats, vegetables, chips and potato specialities, savoury and sweet buffet, desserts, puddings, ice cream, bread, cakes and patisserie.
Lot 3 Supply and Delivery of Grocery, Fresh, Chilled and Frozen Foods
This Lot includes as described in Lots 1 and 2.
- Offers customers the option to consolidate their fresh and frozen food deliveries via a simple direct award or a further competition.
- Suppliers can offer products to suit special dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, nut free, lactose free and halal.

All the suppliers on this framework are suitably qualified and have been assessed to ensure they meet all food safety and government standards. Suppliers are able to provide valuable support to assist you with meeting obligations, for example; meeting the Food Allergen Regulations 2014, complying with nutritional requirements such as School Food Standards 2014 and CQUIN, as well as supporting those working towards and/or maintaining Food for Life accreditations. ESPO operate a Quality Assurance program for all food frameworks to ensure that standards are upheld on a continuing basis.
During the lifetime of the framework a high level of contract management is employed with ongoing reviews of all our suppliers ensuring compliance with food safety standards and the terms and conditions of the contract.
