A framework for ad-hoc or planned security requirements, such as key holding and response services, manned guarding and mobile patrols. The framework also newly covers the provision of canine security services.

Framework Accordion Title

This ESPO framework offers customers a quick, simple and competitive route to purchase a comprehensive range of security services. This page is intended to provide you with an overview of what is available. Please refer to the full User Guide for more information. The framework offers S.I.A. (Security Industry Authority) licensed staff for; Key Holding; Static Guarding; Mobile Patrols (including Security Escort Services); Event Security.

Lots 1A – 12A: Site Security

These regional lots allow customers to access the provision of Security Services for Site Related Security Services, including key holding, un-locking / locking up services, static guarding, mobile patrolling and escort duties in the government’s nine defined regions of England plus the three other countries within the UK.

Lots 1B – 12B: Event Security

These regional lots allow customers to access the provision of Security Services for Event Security Services, including general security duties, stewarding duties and front-line entrance supervision in the government’s nine defined regions of England plus the three other countries within the UK.

Lot 13 – Canine Services

This national lot allows customers to access the provision of planned and ad-hoc guarding to various Sites in compliance with BS 8517-1 and BS8517-2 codes of practice. The general requirements may include: static canine unit, mobile response unit and event security in the government’s nine defined regions of England plus the three other countries within the UK. Additional specialist services may also include narcotic, explosives, pyrotechnic, firearm or currency detection.

  • It's FREE - You will not be charged for using this framework.
  • Quick & easy to use - This framework has been established via an EU/UK compliant tendering process so it removes the need for you to run a full EU/UK compliant tendering process and it reduces the timescales to put your provisions in place.
  • Pre-vetted suppliers with ongoing monitoring - Suppliers listed on the framework were assessed during ESPO's procurement process for their financial stability, track record, experience and technical & professional ability, before being awarded a place on the framework. The Category Team continue to monitor and check the suppliers on the framework.
  • Not Ranked - The suppliers are not ranked and therefore you have the freedom to approach the supplier of your choice without having to go through any sequential order.
  • Direct Award - You can place a direct call off order with any supplier on the framework based on the terms outlined in the User Guide and Price Schedule.
  • Further Competition - Customers can undertake a further competition amongst the suppliers on the framework and can vary the weightings of the evaluation criteria to suit their requirements - even appointing suppliers only by evaluating price.
  • Pre-agreed conditions - No need to worry about what terms & conditions to use. Each order that is put through the framework is underpinned by a call-off contract that has been pre-agreed at tender stage. The call-off contract can be supplemented by your own terms and conditions should you wish to include them.
