Place Value Slider

This slider gives a better understanding of place value with whole numbers and decimals and is a useful resource to address misconceptions, particularly the effect of multiplying and dividing by the powers of ten. Can be used with a dry wipe pen to enter numbers into the windows, and on the sleeve to add place value headings, and a decimal point or comma if required.
