The framework is essentially a select list of suppliers, all with a proven and successful track record of delivering Managed Training Services, from whom customers may set up supply arrangements quickly and simply.

Lot 1 Managed Service Provider

This lot is for customers who wish to appoint a single Managed Service Provider (MSP) to take responsibility for their training requirements, as opposed to the customer managing a selection of individual training Service Providers themselves. Essentially, the Managed Service Provider will provide a complete service in relation to all (or the majority) of your training requirements. The MSP will work with you to create a comprehensive catalogue of training course with reference to your training history and known future training requirements. The MSP will source and manage new Training Providers and can contract directly with your existing Service Providers. As an additional service, a training catalogue can be loaded onto the Learning Management System (LMS) which is accessed via an on-line portal, branded and designed to suit your organisation.

Lot 2 Learning Management System

This lot is for customers who are looking for a Learning Management System (LMS), which helps them manage the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of training requirements. The LMS used will help customers manage their supply chain, and interact with training providers through the system in regards to ordering training services, compliance and management information. Customers will also be able to access procurement services via the LMS where required, giving them the flexibility to procure, add and remove training providers as they see fit. The LMS can provide: • A bespoke built learning portal; • A simplified booking system; • Access to a range of public and organisational specific courses or events; • Direct links to a large catalogue of eLearning; • The option to have a level of integration with existing systems; and • Options for payment methods.
