Lot 1: Provision of Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
This Lot provides domestic (dwellings) Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and is designed for usage by Registered Social Landlords and Housing Associations who are obliged to provide an EPC when renting out homes.
Lot 2: Provision of Commercial Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
This Lot provides commercial (non-domestic) Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). Commercial EPCs are divided into 3 levels (Levels 3, 4 and 5) based on the building's characteristics and complexity: Level 3 - simple, existing non-dwellings: small buildings such as converted houses or doctor's surgeries; Level 4 - new and existing non-dwellings: e.g. small purpose-built office buildings; Level 5 - new and existing complex non-dwellings.
Lot 3: Provision of Display Energy Certificates (DECs)
This Lot covers the provision of Display Energy Certificates (DECs) which indicates how efficiently energy is being used in the building e.g. how much energy is being used to operate the building. They are based on the actual amount of metered energy used by the building over a 12-month period. The Advisory Report, which is issued with the DEC, stipulates cost effective measures and recommendations that can be taken to improve the energy performance of the building.
Lot 4: Other Energy Related Surveys (Inc. TM44 Air-Conditioning Inspections).
This Lot covers the following surveys: compliance/audit; TM44 Air-Conditioning Inspections; feasibility studies; energy management; Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS); Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES); ISO 50001 standards; Part L / L2 Building Regulations; Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB); Air Tightness Testing; Room Integrity Testing; as well as any other energy related surveys/audits.
