Digital Books

ESPO’s framework offers access to pre-approved suppliers who have been selected for their ability to provide customers with a digital lending platform to provide eBooks and eAudiobooks. The framework is available for use by all public and not-for-profit organisations in the UK, including local authorities, library trusts, universities and community organisations.
There are three lots on the framework for digital books:
Lot 1.1 – eBooks
Digital lending platforms to provide eBooks to education and public library service users. Solutions offer a range of eBook titles via a portal, where service users will be able to reserve and check-out content virtually on a range of devices including smart phones, e-readers, tablets and desktop computers.
Lot 1.2 – eAudiobooks
Digital lending platforms to provide eAudiobooks to education and public library service users. Solutions will offer a range of eAudiobook titles via a portal, where service users will be able to reserve and check-out content virtually on a range of devices including smart phones, e-readers, tablets and desktop computers.
Lot 1.3 – eBooks and eAudiobooks
This lot will be used by customers who require a comprehensive system that combines the functionalities offered by both lots 1.1 and 1.2.

The framework is available for use nationally by any public body in the UK including, but not limited to…

• NHS & HSC Bodies
• Central Government Departments & their agencies
• Registered Charities
