Framework 376E
Status: Active

This framework is designed primarily for use by educational establishments seeking the supply of books and related materials, and for public library services seeking digital lending platforms for eBooks and eAudiobooks.

The framework offers the supply of a range of adults and children’s books including fiction, non-fiction and curriculum material, as well as educational software, CDs and DVDs which customers can purchase quickly and simply by referring to our published list of suppliers’ discount from recommended retail price (RRP).

The framework also offers eBook and eAudiobook lending platforms for public library services.  A separate user guide containing pricing for these solutions is available directly from ESPO – please complete the eBooks Customer Access & Confidentiality Agreement form and return to ESPO to receive a copy of this.

Framework 376F (Library Stock) is likely to be more suitable for Local Authority or School Library Services with a requirement for the supply of ‘shelf ready’ library stock serviced to individual specifications, by suppliers who offer additional facilities such as EDI integration and stock selection. Please contact ESPO if you are unsure which framework is best suited to your needs.

Please note - following news that Bertram Trading Limited entered administration on 19 June 2020, the supplier has been suspended from the framework with immediate effect, pending further information. Please contact ESPO for further advice.

Our Books, E-Books and related materials framework (376E) offers flexibility and convenience for anyone requiring books, e-books, DVDs, CDs, and other related products. Featuring an extensive list of products and genres, Framework 376 offers a ‘one stop shop’ where you can pick up all your requirements in one place and still achieve value for money (with over a 40% discount on selected titles). Differing discounts and deals are also available from some of the trusted and preapproved suppliers on this framework.

The framework is split into the following four lots;

- Lot 1 - Fiction Books – reading books, picture books.

- Lot 2 - Curriculum Books – non-fiction textbooks, revision guides, dictionaries, reading scheme sets, etc. used in schools and colleges by students.

- Lot 3 - Reference, General and Other Related Materials – reference books, general non-fiction books, maps, manuals and also materials such as CDs and DVDs.

- Lot 4 - E-Books, including e-audio – suppliers to this lot provide e-books/eaudio and the systems required to manage and view them. This lot is subdivided into suppliers who cater for the education sector and suppliers who cater for public libraries.

The framework is available for use nationally by any public sector body in the UK including, but not limited to…

  • Schools & Academies
  • Local Authority Establishments
  • Police & Emergency Services
