The Legionnaires' Water Temperature Thermometer Kit contains everything required to monitor water supply temperatures for the prevention of Legionella growth. All employers who manage premises with hot/cold water systems and/or a wet cooling system have a legal responsibility to identify any risk of Legionella contamination and to prevent or control it.
The thermometer kit includes a robust and easy-to-use Therma 1 Industrial Thermometer that operates through the range of -99.9 to 299.9 °C with a 0.1 °C or 1 °C resolution.
The thermometer features an Auto off and backlight, and a biomaster additive in the thermometer casing to reduce bacterial growth.
With a 10000 hour battery life the 1.5 volt AAA batteries will last at least 5 years.
The Legionnaires' kit features three different probes for testing varying elements of the water system. The Penetration Temperature Probe can be used to record the temperature of tap water, the Ribbon Surface Temperature Probe for the surface of pipes and tanks and the Wire Probe for any areas that are difficult to reach.
