Price data was collected and compared on 02/06/2025 by ESPO on the following basis: Suppliers checked were Herts FullStop, Findel, KCS, TTS and YPO (referred to as “competitors” herein). Prices were compared based on items listed on their website prices on that day, excluding any promotional discounts not automatically applied to the items. All products compared are like-for-like matches; own-brand products from the five competitors were compared against ESPO’s own-brand products based on factors such as quality, paper gsm, ingredients and other relevant specifications. Where a competitor did not offer the same branded product, a comparable branded alternative product from the same competitor was used in the comparison. Where a competitor's pack size varies from ESPO's, a pro-rata price was applied to ensure consistency. Where no equivalent product was available, the competitor’s basket price included the price of the ESPO product to maintain, so far as was reasonably possible, a fair comparison.
