Lot listing

Lot 1 Purchase of Electric Vehicle Charge Points

This Lot covers the procurement of Electric Vehicle Charge Points (EVCPs). The Lot is for EVCPs of various power outputs and configurations to suit public sector use. It covers the supply, site survey and feasibility studies, installation, back-office and maintenance of EVCPs and end to end / turnkey solutions.

Lot 2 Back Office Solutions

This Lot covers the back office system or Charge Point Management System (CPMS) for the EVCPs, namely the software and services provided by Charge Point Network Operators (CPNOs). Lot 1 enables Customers to purchase solutions from Suppliers including a CPMS, however, Lot 2 enables CPNOs to Tender for a CPMS which will work with the Customer’s existing EVCPs.

Lot 3 Service and Maintenance

This Lot covers service and maintenance of existing EVCPs for Customers that are either out of maintenance cover or warranty. It allows Customers to procure ongoing charger support.

Lot 4 Consultancy Services (including site survey and feasibility studies)

This Lot covers consultancy services to Customers with no pre-existing specification for EVCPs, including, but not limited to, site survey, site design, energy capacity assessment, usage evaluation, scenario guidance, grant application assistance, grid connection application assistance to the local DNO and/or iDNO, specification guidance and drafting assistance, grid connection, support with developing sustainable commercial models, and creation of a fleet decarbonisation plan including fleet optimisation.

All installation costs are ‘Price on Application’.
If this were a brand-new EV installation, we would always recommend a site survey followed by a further competition.
