This is a framework for the supply and fitting of tyres for cars, LCVs, HGVs and plant, together with the provision of related ancillary services, including puncture repairs and wheel balancing. Work undertaken under this agreement will generally be performed by mobile fitters at the customer's premises.

The framework is essentially a select list of suppliers, with a proven and successful track record of delivering Tyres and related services, from whom customers may set up supply arrangements quickly and simply. The framework offers the following: The supply, delivery and fitting of tyres, tubes and ancillary products by mobile fitters within normal working hours. The replacements / repairs of tyre to be undertaken by mobile fitters at the Customer’s premises. The fitting, removal, turning, regrooving of new or remould tyres, as well as related services including balancing, tracking, puncture repair, valve replacement and emergency call out. The removal and replacement of wheel and tyre assemblies to all types of vehicles and plant operated by Customers. Response times will be prompt and within 2 hours of callout unless otherwise agreed with the Customer. Emergency services vehicles, large passenger carrying vehicles, minibuses, mobile libraries and winter gritting vehicles will be treated with the highest priority. Remoulded and re-grooved tyres: Suppliers will only fit remoulded tyres from approved remoulders and will comply with the Customer’s policies and instructions on where and when remoulds and regrooved tyres are fitted. Removed casings: For certain tyres, a casing allowance / credit / bank arrangement may be established with the Contractor where a credit / allowance will be given if the used tyre casing is not scrapped and can be returned to be reused. Scrap casings will be disposed of in a manner permitted under the Environmental Protection Act. The provision of management information to the Customer as may be required in addition to the minimum requirements for invoices and payment. Tyre Availability: Suppliers should have access to sufficient stock of the full range of tyre requirements, so any sudden / abnormal demand by Customers can be met. Wheel nuts: torque check after wheel change/ replacement. Drivers will be advised in writing that wheel nuts must be re-tightened after the first 50 miles. All tyre fitting and servicing to be carried out by qualified and trained personnel. All workmanship, service and administration to be to the highest standard and fully warranted. All tyres and tubes to be correctly inflated. As a minimum, Suppliers will offer Services between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Services outside of normal hours may be agreed by agreement between customers and suppliers.
