Framework Accordion Title

This framework provides access to a range of renewable energy systems and/or consultancy for renewable energy projects.

Lot 1 The supply and installation of solar PV systems and associated products

The supply and installation of solar PV systems will be provided by MCS licensed installers with a strong track record who all provide a minimum of 10 years warranty on solar PVs and a guarantee of at least 90% of the installed output after 10 years. You can choose from a ‘pick and mix’ of services (design input, supply, installation, maintenance and monitoring). Solar PV installations will focus on small scale applications; however large scale projects are within the scope of the framework. Additional products and services may include built-in solar PVs and tiles, energy storage, repairs, maintenance, and monitoring.

Lot 2 The supply and installation of renewable heat generation systems

The supply and installation of renewable heat generation systems will be provided by MCS licensed installers with a strong track record who all provide a minimum of 5 years warranty on all heat generation systems and a guarantee of at least 90% of the installed output after 10 years. You can choose from a ‘pick and mix’ of services (design input, supply, installation, maintenance and monitoring). Renewable heat generation can include, but is not limited to: air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, biomass boilers, solar thermal panels and solar thermal tubes. Additional products and services may include repairs, maintenance and monitoring.

Lot 3 Consultancy and project management for renewable energy solutions

Consultancy and project management is provided by experienced consultants with a strong track record. Customers are able to choose from a selection of consultancy services for all types of renewable energy solutions (e.g. solar PVs, wind turbines, heat pumps, anaerobic digestion, biomass boilers and more). The dynamic nature of this Lot will allow you to take advantage of new installers and innovations entering the market. You can able to select relevant elements from a range of services to suit their needs. The following elements of service may be offered under this Lot include, : • Initial feasibility study and/or identification of renewable energy options • Preparation and submission of planning applications • Survey • Specification and design • Return on investment (ROI) analysis • RHI applications • Installer selection and vetting (on the customer’s behalf) • Running a full competitive tender exercise (OJEU compliant) on the customer’s behalf including drafting ITT documents and evaluating tenders • Full-scale project management – ‘turnkey’ solutions (whereby the consultant assists the customer with both the selection of technology and the actual installation and contracting with the installer. The consultant will take responsibility for the overall project completion) • Aftercare, operation and maintenance including energy monitoring and reporting.

  • All installers on Lot 1 and Lot 2 are members of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme.
  • All renewable energy requirements can be catered for - there are no restrictions under Lot 3 - Consultancy and project management.
  • This framework is compliant with UK/EU procurement legislation - we've done the work, so there's no need for you to run a full EU procurement process.
  • Suppliers listed on the framework were assessed during the procurement process for their financial stability, track record, experience and technical & professional ability.
  • Pre-agreed terms & conditions to underpin all orders so no need to worry.
