Each song has Oc-pix™ or Oc-box™ notation to support ocarina players and the music is equally appropriate for violins, flutes, recorders, glockenspiels and ukuleles – and voices of course.
'Music World-Explorer Teacher' includes piano accompaniments and a backings CD, along with cross-curricular project ideas, showing how you can keep music live by making it part of every day's activities. Add costumes, dances, food and props as you create a performance using some, or all, of the 20 songs. Your audience will feel that they’ve travelled the world with you. And if you’re not feeling musical today, let the children take the lead with the support of the audio CD. This is music of the world at its best – accessible for everyone, and relevant to many curriculum areas of study.
