Projects under the framework could include but are not limited to new build, such as new buildings and extensions to premises. Renovation work, such as replacement windows, boiler replacement, new heating systems, new floors, re-wiring, roof replacement, car park or playground re-surfacing etc. Major repairs, such as fire, vandalism or weather damage. Asset management & option planning, assessing property values and advising on options for managing estates and potential changes. Feasibility study, checking that a project is feasible and preparing a cost estimate. Specification, producing a written technical specification of the work to be carried out including contract conditions. Compliance, such as obtaining planning and building control consents, identifying any applicable regulations and ensuring compliance with them. Managing tender processes, conducting tender and contract award processes in compliance with Public Contract Regulations on behalf of a client to appoint contractors to carry out required works. Site management, regular site visits to check on progress and quality of work. Cost management, controlling project costs and advising and management of increased cost risks. Handover, accepting completion of the finished project, handling snagging any issues and checking that all commissioning and testing has been carried out. Invoice checking. Customers will be able to utilise project management services via the framework to appoint other associated services, including providing turn-key solutions if desired and running tendering services on behalf of the customer, subject to further discussion and agreement with the supplier.
