This framework is for hire/lease of specialist/commercial vehicles (with or without maintenance) on a medium to long term basis. The framework covers a wide range of specialist and municipal vehicle types, including refuse collection vehicles, gritters, sweepers, gully emptiers, minibuses/midibuses, larger buses, mobile library vehicles, etc. With a number of well-known and competitive suppliers, framework 218 offers the flexibility to pick and choose the most suitable vehicle type, contract period and mileage for your requirements whilst achieving value for money. Whilst this is solely an arrangement for vehicle hire, ESPO offers other vehicle related frameworks which are listed below: 215 - Specialist vehicles (purchase) 271 - Vehicle hire - Self-drive (short to medium term) 536 - Plant hire (without operator) 535 - Plant hire (with operator) 106 - Lubricating oils, greases and anti-freeze 222 - Vehicle tyres and related services 275 - Vehicle glass replacement and repair

Lot 1 Contract Hire of Specialist Vehicles

This Lot covers the vehicle types (with or without maintenance) for contact hire as per the sub-lots.

Lot 1 Sub Lot 1 Commercial vehicles (up to and including 7.5T GVM)

This Sub-Lot includes the following vehicles but is not restricted to vans, pick-up trucks, etc.

Lot 1 Sub Lot 2 Commercial vehicles (over 7.5T GVM)

This Sub-Lot includes the following vehicles but is not restricted to refuse-collection vehicles, winter maintenance vehicles (gritters), chassis mounted sweepers, gully emptiers, mobile libraries, flatbed & tipper trucks, skip loaders, hook loaders, box trucks, truck-mounted cranes, access platforms / cherry pickers, etc.

Lot 1 Sub Lot 3 Sweepers (up to and including 7.5t GVM)

This Sub-Lot includes sweepers up to 7.5t

Lot 1 Sub Lot 4 Passenger transport vehicles (up to and including 32 seats)

This Sub-Lot includes the following vehicles but is not restricted to, mini-buses, midi-buses and welfare vehicles – standard and/or wheelchair accessible.

Lot 1 Sub Lot 5 Passenger transport vehicles (over 32 seats)

This Sub-Lot includes the following vehicles but is not restricted to, large buses and coaches– standard and/or wheelchair accessible.

Lot 2 Lease of Specialist Vehicles

This Lot covers the vehicle types (with or without maintenance) for Lease as per the sub-lots.

Lot 2 Sub Lot 1 Commercial vehicles (up to and including 7.5T GVM)

This Sub-Lot includes the following vehicles but is not restricted to vans, pick-up trucks, etc.

Lot 2 Sub Lot 2 Commercial vehicles (over 7.5T GVM)

This Sub-Lot includes the following vehicles but is not restricted to refuse-collection vehicles, winter maintenance vehicles (gritters), chassis mounted sweepers, gully emptiers, mobile libraries, flatbed & tipper trucks, skip loaders, hook loaders, box trucks, truck-mounted cranes, access platforms / cherry pickers, etc.
