This 24 page science book covers the fundamental ideas of living things from birth to death. It covers life cycles in plants, including pollination, seed dispersal and survival mechanisms. It looks at the process of human development from embryo to old age. There is a further section on animals, focusing on insects, such as the caterpillar to butterfly, and a frog including the tadpole stage. There is a final section on environmental threat and the possibility of animal extinction. There are embedded questions on each page to test the student's understanding of what they have just read.
