Perfect for hand building large items or mixing with other clays. The crank firing clay is coarse textured and possesses a refractory and nicely toasted colour (speckled orange-brown under reduction). Ball clay based with specially graded hi-purity grogs. Low shrinkage. Has a firing range of 1170° - 1300°C.
