We have selected a few frameworks which provide essential services and may be useful in helping you over the coming weeks. We have also highlighted some key contact details and processes for some of our key services including Energy and Food.
Deep cleaning As it stands your cleaning requirements may sit outside of your normal remit. Our Total Cleaning Services Solution framework (263) includes a specialist Lot for deep and specialist cleaning which is available nationwide for our customers.
Communicating During this difficult time, we know how important correctly communicating health and public information in an efficient manner can be. If your organisation needs support with conducting these campaigns to help you deliver consistent messaging, there is a dedicated Lot on our Advertising Solutions framework (3A) which can help.
Human resource To help relieve and support organisation’s with stretched resource, Lot 3 of our Strategic HR Services framework (3S) offers nationwide access to a quality assured resource of generalist staff on a temporary basis across a number of types of role. Some suppliers are offering highly discounted DBS checks and other services for the public sector, please speak to our team about these offers for more information.
Protective clothing Lot 1 of our Personal Protective Equipment and Clothing framework (144) covers all PPE including hand, respiratory, eye, head and face protection as well as children’s eye protection. The framework is available nationwide and as with all of our frameworks, it is completely free to access for our customers.
Advice when you need it Clear communication with your residents, service users and stakeholders is key at times like this. Lot 9b of our Consultancy Services framework (664) provides access to advice on urgent communication strategies and/or platforms (e.g. social media), which can help you send the right message at the right time.
Goods and/or service provisions from your supply chain are critical in order to keep things running as efficiently as possible, and given the market there might also be additional elements required at short notice. Advice on supply chain efficiencies and procuring at the right time and the right price can be found via Lot 2d of this framework.
Energy frameworks Our Energy team can be contacted in the usual way, or by calling 0116 294 4040. All members of our office numbers have been diverted and your queries will be triaged and directed to the most appropriate member of the team to respond to any questions you may have.
Please note that if you have a Gas emergency you should contact the National Gas emergency helpline on 0800 111 999 - 24 hours a day. If you then require further post emergency support following National Grid attendance, this can be obtained by calling our gas supplier, Total Gas & Power on 0173 727 5587.
If you experience a power cut, simply call 105 for free. 105 is the nationwide number that will put you through to your local electricity network operator - the company that manages the cables, wires and substations that bring electricity into local homes and businesses.
Food frameworks We have a range of food frameworks available for customers to order grocery, fresh and frozen products. The good news is that at present our suppliers are not reporting any major supply issues so services should run uninterrupted.
Other key frameworks cover pre-prepared food such as ready meals, sandwiches and street food. However, many of these suppliers have seen huge increases in demand and are reviewing new customer enquiries on a case-by-case basis.
