Is ESPO open for business as usual?
As an essential service delivering to front-line public sector customers, ESPO has remained open as usual throughout the pandemic. We continue to closely monitor all the latest government guidelines and operate in line with the recommendations.

What is the difference between clinical and non-clinical PPE?
Clinical and non-clinical PPE mainly refers to our supply of face masks. At ESPO we sell a range of face masks, however the supply of clinical face masks is in very high demand across the marketplace. It is worth considering whether non-clinical face masks may be suitable for your needs. Customers are advised to check the product description carefully when deciding which product is suitable.

What products do you have available that will help my establishment with regards to coronavirus?
We've put together a section on our website dedicated to products relating to the coronavirus pandemic. How are ESPO deliveries affected?
Our fleet of Drivers are working hard to get the products you need delivered to you on time. Upon placing your order, you should receive this on your next standard delivery day, as long as your establishment is open and able to accept deliveries.
What are ESPO Drivers doing to ensure they are delivering safely and adhering to social distancing measures?
Despite national easing of restrictions ESPO continue to implement strict controls to help protect our customers and staff as this remains our highest priority. The ESPO site continues to be a 'Covid-Secure' workplace in line with the latest government guidance and all ESPO Drivers have been fully briefed and follow all relevant control measures in line with ESPO risk assessments. Each ESPO Driver is issued with hand sanitizer gel, which is regularly used throughout the day, as well as before and after each delivery.
Please note, whilst we understand the need to keep sites Covid secure our drivers, by law, are entitled to use welfare facilities if required so please allow use of these, drivers are instructed to practice good hand hygiene and will follow any internal rules as required to help you keep your site safe.
We continue to operate a contactless delivery service meaning that Drivers will be observing social distancing measures and will not be required to obtain a signature for the delivery; they will instead record the recipient’s name for our records. Our Drivers are happy to take direction from you and so please let them know if you would like to request a change in your normal delivery habits. They will be happy to accommodate your request where it is safe to do so.
All drivers have been instructed to continue to wear a face covering at every point of delivery to help protect those we deliver to.
How are Direct deliveries affected?
Direct deliveries are dispatched directly from our suppliers and can be identified by item codes beginning with a letter (e.g. A, N or X), and blue codes in our catalogues. Direct delivery items have their own individual lead times which will be stated on the page next to the product or on the website.
Please be aware that during this time some suppliers are experiencing longer than normal lead times. If you need an item urgently, we advise you to call our Directs team to discuss specific lead times before placing your order on 0116 2657901 – option 1.
The summer months are an extremely busy time for furniture deliveries and the sector has seen an even greater impact this year as manufacturers look to meet the additional challenges brought about by the pandemic. Can I still access ESPO frameworks?
We would like to reassure customers that our framework solutions are still available to access, with the majority of suppliers and services operating without interruption.
