Due to great success, with over 165 customers having already accessed its services, we have decided to extend our Parking Management Solutions framework (509).



Parking is one of the few services that can generate income for public sector organisations so it is vital that the hardware and software are both reliable, up-to-date and of good quality. At ESPO, we are always trying to ensure we get the best deal for our customers; therefore we have made the following improvements to the framework in line with its extension:

 
  • An updated pricing catalogue

  • An updated product range which offers customers access to the latest technology available in the market

  • A larger variety of installation options to enable customers to choose the best package for them



The framework features market leading suppliers and comprises of three lots to enable customers to purchase anything from a single Pay and Display machine right through to a complete Pay on Foot solution across a number of car parks.

The framework is split into the following lots:
 
  • Lot 1 - Pay and Display Solutions 
    This solution consists of the outright purchase of pay and display machines and software. A range of maintenance packages are also available to customers who do not have the in house capacity to maintain the machines with varying levels of support.  Customers can also customise their machines under the framework to include added functionality, such as an alphanumeric keypad.
     
  • Lot 2 - Pay on Foot Solutions 
    There are many Pay on Foot solutions on the market that include various components to make up the overall service. A solution that is fit for purpose for one car park may not necessarily be ideal for another car park. Pay on Foot solutions are bespoke to each parking area so customers are advised to invite suppliers to conduct a site survey prior to going out to the market.

  • Lot 3 - Civil Enforcement Solutions
    This is designed to assist customers with the administration and processing of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) and the management of permits.  It is a requirement for customers to carry out practices in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and these systems are designed to aid a customer in doing so. Both the hardware and software components of the system can be purchased under this framework and additional functionality is available to work in conjunction with a customer’s core system.  
     
Additional services are also covered for customers with requirements such as automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), business processing, cashless parking and parking bay sensory technology.
