Adding a personal touch to our brand

Published on 28/09/2016

At ESPO we pride ourselves on the way our products and services help support the front line of education and we try to reflect this in our branding, often using images of classrooms or school settings in our marketing materials. However, one of the struggles we face is consistently finding unique, interesting images that make us stand out from the crowd and really showcase our benefits to customers.

Frustrated from searching through endless stock photos, we decided to take matters into our own hands and host our very own professional photoshoot.

Over the course of the year we’ve now held three professional shoots. Two of which took place in a studio using a white infinity screen to capture a series of fresh, modern images. Growing from humble roots into one of the biggest professional buying organisations in the country, we took the opportunity to add a personal touch by inviting current employees’ families to be the stars. We think you’ll agree they did an excellent job and now our team have an added sense of pride in the materials that get produced.

Our final shoot took place at a local school allowing us to accurately represent the environment that so many of our customers will know like the back of their hand.  Busy classrooms, long corridors, noisy playgrounds…we got it all with help from some very eager student volunteers. We’re sure that the chance to miss some lessons had nothing to do with their enthusiasm!

Before sharing these photos we’d just like to acknowledge and thank Titan Furniture, who very kindly lent us a selection of tables and chairs to use in our studio shoots.

We’d also like to thank Castle Rock High School in Coalville, Leicestershire for the kind use of their grounds and the participation of their charming students.

We are now genuinely proud to share some of our new collection and hope that they bring a smile to your face next time you see an ESPO leaflet land on your desk.
