This framework offers customers a quick, simple and competitive route to procure library RFID solutions, self service technology and library management systems. This also includes integration, training and associated support services.

The framework offers access to pre-approved suppliers who have been selected for their ability to provide customers with a comprehensive range of services that combine quality and value. These suppliers can be appointed using efficient and streamlined procurement processes; therefore, ensuring that customers obtain value-for-money services which meet their requirements.

There are two lots on the framework:

Lot 1A Library RFID Solutions
This lot enables customers to access library RFID equipment, software, installation, support and maintenance, training and a range of associated support services.

Lot 1B Self Service Technology
This lot enables customers to access self-service technology solutions and hardware to enable the general public to access libraries during out of hours, including a range of associated support services.

Lot 2 Library Management Systems
This lot enables customers to access a cloud hosted library management system that will allow them to keep a record of all activity and transactions which occur within the library. Including any associated installation, support and maintenance and training.

The framework will be available for use nationally by any public sector body in the UK including, but not limited to…

  • Schools & Academies
  • Police & Emergency Services
  • NHS & HSC Bodies
  • Central Government Departments & their agencies
  • Registered Charities

  • The services available allow libraries to provide more flexible hours to meet the varying needs of different users within the community.
