Suppliers on this framework can provide a wide range of food items to include grocery provisions, frozen foods, fresh meat, fresh fruit and vegetables as well as non-food items such as catering disposables and cleaning items to be delivered along with customers main food orders.

All suppliers stock extensive ranges including brand names, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, nut free, lactose free, halal, food for life and school compliant products which can assist customers to achieve their requirements and accreditations.
 
Additional support can also be provided to include full product specifications, product samples, online ordering, integration with kitchen management systems, assistance with menu planning, recipe and menu suggestions, guidance for special diets, support with meeting nutritional standards and introduction to new and innovative products.
 

Framework 83 offers customers a convenient route to purchase a range of grocery, frozen and fresh food along with a number of non-food items which can be purchased alongside the main food order. The framework is split into 3 lots to allow customers the option to either purchase their grocery or frozen items or a combined basket of goods using the ‘One stop option’.
 

  • Lot 1: Supply and distribution of grocery and provisions
  • Lot 2: Supply and distribution of frozen foods
  • Lot 3: ‘A one stop shop’ Supply and distribution of grocery and frozen and non-food items.

All the suppliers on this framework are suitably qualified and have been assessed to ensure they meet all food safety and government standards. The suppliers can delivery to all variety of establishments to include schools, workplace, local authorities, hospitality, central government, leisure and healthcare.

Suppliers are able to provide valuable support to customer to assist them with meeting their obligations for example; meeting the Food Allergen Regulations 2014, complying with nutritional requirements such as School Food Standards 2014 and CQUIN, as well as supporting customers who are working towards and/or maintaining Food for Life accreditations.

ESPO operate a Quality Assurance program for all food frameworks to ensure that standards are upheld on a continuing basis. During the lifetime of the framework a high level of contract management is employed with ongoing reviews of all our suppliers ensuring compliance with food safety standards and the terms and conditions of the contract.
