E-ordering with ESPO

At ESPO our aim is to make it as easy as possible for our customers to place orders with us. Orders placed electronically are processed faster at ESPO, and also create a record of the order on your system (by email confirmation or directly onto your finance system).

A full guide to our range of e-ordering methods is available here: ESPO e-commerce offering.

E-catalogue data downloads

Our product catalogue data is available for customers to load into their own internal procurement systems. This way, as an ESPO customer, you only need to enter the details of your order once within your procurement system. We try to cater for as many different systems as possible and we offer two different versions of our catalogue data for each:

  • A regular ZIP file (.zip) - newer operating systems such as Windows XP, Windows 7, or higher have the ability to extract these files. Alternatively, there are extration tools available to download such as WinZip or PKZIP Reader.
  • A self-extracting file (.exe) - for Microsoft Windows only, this self-extracting ZIP file does not require the use of additional tools.

Please note that the files contain data in text format only; they do not include product imagery. If you wish to see images of the products, please refer to either our printed catalogues or our online ordering website

Our new catalogue launches on 1st April 2017 - please ensure that you load the appropriate 2017/18 data onto your system on this date. Some data files are already available, and some will be available soon.

Regular ZIP files (.zip)

Self extracting files (.exe)

Please note the following:

  • The "ACSII tab delimited" file is for use with Hoge100 and some other systems.
  • The "Generic CMS" file can be used with most other systems including SAP, Oracle, and Agresso/Unit4 Business World.
  • You do not need to unzip the "SIMS CATDBF" file, and the filename should not be changed before installation.

Installation user guides

We've put together a collection of user guides to help you through the process of installing the ESPO catalogue data onto your system. Please download the relevant user guide from the list below:

ESPO Desktop Ordering

If you do not have your own procurement system, or if you don't have regular internet access, you may wish to consider downloading ESPO's own desktop ordering system. If you already have the software installed, please ensure that you install the latest catalogue data file.

Our new catalogue launches on 1st April 2017 - please ensure that you load the appropriate 2017/18 data onto your system on this date. Some data files are already available, and some will be available soon.

  • ESPO Desktop Ordering - full software: 2016/17 | 2017/18
  • ESPO Desktop Ordering - catalogue data update: 2016/17 | 2017/18

If you experience any issues with these downloads, please contact us at communications@espo.org. Alternatively, you can request this data on a disc by emailing marketing@espo.org.
