Whilst we are implementing our new e-tendering system, we will be continuing to advertise ESPO's opportunities via one or more of the following three websites.
The only way to ensure that you get to participate in a tender
process to supply goods or services to ESPO is to regularly
monitor ALL the above
websites for information. We recommend you do this on a weekly
basis to ensure you don't miss any opportunities. To ensure
compliance with both EU and UK procurement legislation the majority
of ESPO frameworks and contracts over a specified value are
advertised to the entire market via these websites.
Once you have identified an opportunity you wish to tender for, you must request and complete the tender and return with all of the required documentation by the deadline identified in the advertisement and the tender. Our buying teams will evaluate all tenders received against the criteria outlined, make an award as appropriate and communicate the outcome to all tenderers.
E-tendering - the future
With effect from June 2014, we have started to carry out
procurement on the e-tendering system. Suppliers can register their
interest in specific areas of work, receive notifications about
opportunities as they arise and submit their tender documentation
and supporting information online via the e-tendering
The target is that by the end of 2014, all opportunities to participate in an ESPO tender exercise will be conducted only through the e-tendering site.
Therefore it is important that suppliers register on www.eastmidstenders.org at the earliest opportunity - whilst continuing to monitor the other websites mentioned above.
